Party Animal
I put on my best outfit and got my party shoes (socks actually) ready for my cousin Riley's 1st Birthday. I had a great time and hope I get that many people at my party in December.
Do Not Disturb
I got to stay in my first hotel, the Omni, in Indianapolis on Friday. I really enjoyed the big bed and ordering room service with Nana. I quickly learned how important a Do Not Disturb sign is the morning so you don't get woken up by the maid.

Over the River and Through the Woods
Dad's traveling this week, so me and mom made a trip to grandma's house. The car trip was great but I wasn't used to my new pack n play yet so I woke mom up every hour to make sure everything was still ok (I saw her put it up and was leary...this is usually Dad's job and let's just say he's more handy than she is).

Home Schooled
I learned 2 new tricks last week
1. How to follow someone/something with my eyes
2. How to smile when smiled at
I can mostly do these tricks with my mom, but I can do #1 with my dad...you have to watch out for him, sometimes he tickles me.

Grocery Shopping and America's Best Toliet
I went grocery shopping with mom last night for the first time at Jungle Jim's, I really enjoyed the cart ride - it put me to sleep. Mom and Dad took a picture of me in America's Best Bathroom that looks like a Porta-Potty from the outside, I have no idea why they thought this was funny.
Also I added my weekly update to my alter-ego at: http://www.themostinterestingbabyintheworld.blogspot.com/

Shake, Rattle, and Ouch
Sure I can hold a rattle and shake it, but can I prevent the rattle from hitting me in the head?
No.
No.

Family Weekend
Busy weekend, places to go and people to see.......
Thursday night - Dinner with Grandma F and a very relaxing bath, she cleaned between my toes and behind my ears like all grandma's do
Friday night - Grammy A visited while Dad and Grandpa A went to the golf/boat show...Dad did not come home with a boat like Mom thought he would
Saturday night - W family Christmas at Great Aunt Tante's, they got me this awesome 1st Christmas outfit so I just had to wear it. I got to spend some quality time with Grandpa W and meet all my cousins....I can't wait to run around with them next year (hopefully I'll be walking by then)

I've been shot!
I got my 1 month checkup and can't believe dad let this whole shot thing happen, I was completely unprepared. I'm very healthy but still a little on the small side.
Here are my new stats:
Weight: 8.5 lbs, 24th percentile - I was in the 6th percentile before so this is a big change...not surprising though as I'm a big eater
Height: 20.5 inches, 22nd percentile
Head circumference: 14 inches, 13th percentile - so I won't be growing out of hats anytime soon
Other key accomplishments include raising my head while on my tummy, making eye contact, and beginning to vocalize by cooing.

Morning Gym Sessions
Every morning I like to play on my gym mat and talk/coo at my animals, sometimes mom forgets the routine and I need to remind her/cry until she puts me there. I like the monkey and parrot the best since I can reach them, the elephant and giraffe are still a little out of my reach so we'll have to wait until my skills improve to play with them.

The Most Interesting Baby in the World
I have an alter-ego similar to the Dos Equis guy, http://www.themostinterestingbabyintheworld.blogspot.com
Her reputation is expanding faster than the universe
She once had a dirty diaper just to see how it feels
She lives vicariously through herself
She is....the most interesting baby in the world
I don't always drink from a bottle, but when I do I prefer Dr. Brown's, stay thirsty my friends

Product Review: Newborn Napper addition to Pack and Play
Evie's epinion
Pros: Soft, contoured napper allows for hours of afternoon napping, the classical musical is enjoyable as well. Pillow lets me keep my hands in place above my head to help me sleep like mom and dad do.
Cons: Napper seems a little short as I can stick my feet out (and up) at the bottom when my head isn't fully on the pillow. The vibrating option is a pretty annoying and the nature sound birds are a little scary.

Who Dey
Dad and I put on our Bengals gear for the big game today, he's wearing a jersey and I have on my onesie with Bengal tigers on it (okay so it has monkeys and elephants on it to but it was the best I could do). Dad, Uncle Andy, and Cory are all going to the game today but Mom and I will be cheering from the warmth of home. Go Bengals!

1st Big Snow Day
Today was my 1st big snow day, so I started the day in my snowman pajama's I got for Christmas. Mom said this will be exciting once I get in school and can stay home. I'm ending my 1st snow day by the fire on my sheepskin rug (okay it's really just my lambie blanket but I'm sure it's much more comfortable than a rug).

Class of 2028
This is me practicing for my senior pictures in 2028, mom's friend Gina teased that mom and dad will have to drive their flying car to the ceremony by then...whatever that means.
They'll also probably put one of those embarassing ads in the paper with my naked baby pictures, I'll spend the next 18 years trying to have all of these destroyed.
